I love the tallest building just south of the park I think. One Museum Park perhaps? just think the architecture is awesome, and I really like the Trump Tower also. his buildings in NYC are ugggggly.

I think Chicago has much better architecture in general than NYC. And I'm trying to hard to divorce myself from my personal bias, so I think that says something.

I can mostly agree with that. the thing I remember most about NYC was leaving the airport, coming over a hill to get on the bridge to manhattan and seeing that, literally, every building was huge. being from a small town, going to chicago a few times when I was waaaaaay young, and spending most of my big city time in Minneapolis and Des Moines (barely a big city, but I love the size of it...), NYC was a shot. just because of the sheer volume of really tall buildings.

Also, I like NYC's older buildings, but Chicago most definitely takes the cake for modern buildings.

Also, as a person who sees NYC's skyline on a daily basis and had a personal distaste for the city of Chicago until last year due to bad experiences in the city...Chicago wins for skyline/architecture.

I don't recall it being that early for Green Day. It was pretty easy to walk up that close. I kinda feel as if I had gotten even closer at one point, but maybe not.

And I still haven't met Munkivelli, but that is pretty funny I ended up at a boarder meetup unknowingly. Also, just an FYI, the Friday meetup I have planned from 5:00-10:00 is very close to this spot.
