They started recording a new album, but it's not due for a WHILE. So, no. Don't see sabbath playing at all. Peppers and keys is a most likely, and probably not Jack White. NO idea on Black Crowes though. But, that'd be a nice lineup. And I'd move Green Day to 3 and Black Crowes to 6

The paycheck from Lolla would probably make it worth it. I think there's a better chance that Bon Iver is just not playing anywhere in Chicago in 2012, since they aren't exactly touring the US and they played the Chicago Theater and UIC Pavillion in 2011.

If I was going to see him/them at Lolla, I'd want them as a sub or earlier. I like to end my Lolla days with a climax, not a snooze. Beirut was a huge personal mistake last year.

I'm just having a hard time being confident in any of the possibilities for 1-2. I'm sure it's two of the bands we're guessing, but I can't settle on two because it doesn't seem like Lolla would book Sabbath or The Cure. And The Throne just did a huge US tour with two nights in Chicago so they also seem unlikely. And Metallica doesn't seem very right to me either.
