I guess it's a good thing for the element of the surprise, but for buying early birds I guess not.

Don't get me wrong, I think Jack White will headline. His stage show (female backing band, break, male backing band) is pretty cool and is definitely headliner worthy.

I'm also interested to see what The Black Keys do with a headliner spot. They only play for 65 mins on their arena tour.

How about the fact that it would be unexpected since it's the fastest burgeoning scene in the festival going crowd and a guaranteed moneymaker?

I've said it before and I'll say it again but I'm going against the board consensus of there being at most 3 EDM closers. "New Perry's" at BEST will have something like Passion Pit / M83 / hip-hop (the way it was with Cudi - basically an act that wouldn't be ridiculously out of place if they played the Sahara in terms of genre - so not Sigur Ros) if / when one of the main stages has Avicii / SHM / Justice / Kaskade but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if there was a smaller EDM act at "new Perry's" at the same time as well.

They were okay. G&V were pretty inoffensive, BRBR and I agreed the Gotye and Foster the People crowd would eat that up.
Edit: Oh yeah, I tried talking BR into doing more woodwind solos at his future shows, based off what we saw with G&V.

Fanfarlo were alright otherwise, the new stuff all sounded pretty good live. Somehow, LH was pretty much sold out. Absolutely no idea how that happened.

Just saying that acts that headline smaller festivals like Sasquatch (holds 20,000 per day; see: Ben Harper & the Relentless 7 in '09, Ween in '10) and Hangout (holds 35,000 per day; see: Flaming Lips in '11) don't necessarily headline a bigger fest as mainstream as Lolla (holds roughly 90,000 EDM high schoolers in throwback jerseys per day).

JW is not a top-line headliner. He is certainly a 4-6, though.

He's not in contention for top 6 overall, but he certainly would in the top bracket among EDM acts at Lolla this year.
