Not sure on your number,but that still would be 5,000 less people at the other two main stages. I like that C3 is now giving people more choices in ending their night. Some people might not like the north, south or Perry's headliner so the Grove gives them another choice.

Ratatat were 19th and would be even lower if you compiled a master list to rank Perry's in with the rest of the line-up (which you would like to do to say that the Perry's acts are top 15 or whatever). A 25th or so ranked act on Grove should not be a major factor unless they are one of your favourite acts (at which point skip the headliner - but in terms of value we are probably talking about a show that costs $25?)

I know someone on here mentioned Pearl Jam as a potential headliner last week. I felt Pearl Jam was unlikely this year, but here is even more reason to rule them out:
