BTW, I randomly chose the draft date to get things rolling, but we can negotiate another time if it doesn't work for everyone. I would strongly advise that we consider doing a board draft here. It will take a bit longer, but it might be more accommodating to everyone's schedule, draw out the anticipation, and possibly make things a little less stressful.

Also, we all need to talk Rosseus into coming back this year.

I think drawing out a board-based draft more than a single evening introduces potential inequities when it comes to injuries that happen over the course of that week or however long it takes to draft. When we do the Yahoo! online draft, it's a "moment in time" when we are all drafting with access to the same information. Just my two cents; I'll do whatever the group wants.

i moved up one spot this year (10th to 9th). better than my other two leagues where i finished 5th and 3rd for the second consecutive year in each.

I think yahoo sets it randomly for us.

yeah but you have the option of setting it yourself anytime before the draft. like in another league i'm in, once everyone is signed up and the date is agreed upon, we pull names out of a hat to determine the draft order. the commish can set it. it just makes it easier to plan your course of attack, knowing when you'll draft ahead of time.

if we wait for yahoo to do it, it'll happen only a few hours before the draft. since we're obviously all far away and can't pull names out of a hat, we could use one of those randomization websites or something to get a random order for carl to set. just a thought though.
