Pinkerton is much more my speed. Love the themed stages.

Both are really great, went with Crossroads, since I try to vote for the slightly more realistic ones.

I don't think I'll be voting against Crossroads this year. I have a single conflict over four days. I'm really not sure what people are seeing in Pinkerton this year, but I guess it's not really "my thing" anyway.

You seriously don't see what people see in Radiohead/Jay-Z & Kanye/The Cure/Neil Young/Daft Punk?

No, I get that. What I don't get is why everyone's going crazy about the themed stages. Also, the undercard is one of the weakest of the competition IMO

think these two end up going head-to-head every year.

Both festivals are great, but I like Crossroads undercard better so that was the deciding factor in my vote.

comments: like crooked river, crossroads has done a great job scheduling make a great fest even better. thursday and friday (friday night particularly) are almost perfect. saturday is a little weak as far as late night, but sunday comes back strong.

as for pinkerton, i love the long headlining sets, the actual flow on each stage, the international stage idea, the cocteau twins reunion. it's a little too topheavy though & the undercard suffers a bit.

in the end, i think these are both fine fests, but have both looked better in past editions. ultimately i'm giving the not to crossroads, but just barely, thanks to slightly less downtime & a cheaper price tag.

Crossroads for me. Both look great, but the lineup is just more to my taste. Love late night sets from The Wedding Present, Suicide & Jonsi.
